She was predeceased by: her parents, Chris Gerig and Lena Gerig (Bies); her husband Wenzel Hoefler; and her sisters, Kathleen Dietzen (Donald), Lucille Weyenberg (Daniel) and Dorothy.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Kilsdonk (Patrick) of Kronenwetter, Diane Van Thiel (Chuck) of Kaukauna and Dan Hoefler (Mary) of Kaukauna; her grandchildren, Emily Balsley (Stephen), Sarah Macias, Stacy Mader (Matt), Scott Van Thiel, Megan Reinhold (Kevin) and Marissa Laird (Brett); her great grandchildren, Stella Balsley, Enzo Macias, Macy Mader, Mallory Mader, Addy Reinhold and Milo Reinhold; her siblings, Jerome, Werner, Edwin, Olive Schinke, Lucille Kilgas, Agnes Lemmers and Virginia Samuels; and also, Michael and Mary Hoefler (DeBruin). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
