He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Gostas and Florence Sutherlan; his stepfather Roland Massey; his daughter Leeann Gostas; his grandson Kenneth Gostas II; his siblings, Dete Gostas, Penny Blatseas, Nicholas Gostas and Florence "Dolly" Tucker; his brothers-in-law, Dale Kraft and Bill Koester; and his parents-in-law, Thelma and Virgil Koester.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Koester; his close friend Ed Fulcer; his children, Robert Koester (Sarah), Missy Gostas, Christy Gostas (Keith Jahsman) and Rick Gostas (Jodi); and his siblings, Michael Gostas, Elaine Kraft, Niko Gostas and Antonio Gostas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
