He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Fritz (Noonan) and Ralph Fritz; his grandparents, Bertha, Clifford Fritz, Ralph and Ferna Noonan; his stepbrother Steve Wulterkens; his stepfather Tom Wulterkens; his parents-in-law, Dorothy and David Carnot; and his brother-in-law Thomas Carnot.
He is survived by: his brother Stephen Fritz; his children, Stephanie Moore (Ryan), Michelle Fritz (Timothy), Brooke Torrance (Craig) and Daniel Fritz (Dawn); his grandchildren, Cory Fritz, Deanna Van Thiel, Amanda Peterson, Marjorie Peterson and Natalie Peterson; his sister Susan Zwiers (Joe); his nephews, Chad Rausch (Becky) and Quentin Zwiers; his niece Madeline Zwiers; his stepbrother Michael Wulterkens; his goddaughter Katie Fink (Tracy); his stepfather Raymond Harvey; and also, Linda Betters (Roy), Rebecca Nettekoven, Ryan Betters (Kelli), Terri Hammen (Joe), Brenda Larson (Josh), Bridgette Hammen and Jay Carnot. He is also survived by his family, plus, many close friends and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that memorials be directed to Acute Myeloid Leukemia research.
