She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Thon and Elizabeth Thon (Eiting); and her daughter Amber. She is survived by: her husband Pat Diederich; her son Ross (Kate); her grandchildren, Jacob and Vivian; and her siblings, Dean Thon, Carmen Johnson (Bryan), Darryl Thon, Kerry Thon, Hal Thon (Kellie), Keith Thon (Susan) and Kent Thon. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society in Cork's name.
