He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Kihl and Winifred Kihl (Van Dyke); his former wife Sandy Jansen; and his siblings, Clyde, Robert, Gladys, Emily, Doris, Arlene, Irene, James and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Kihl (Ginny), Mike Kihl (Veronica), Steve Kihl (Caryn) and Lisa Freund (Scott); his grandchildren, Sam, Eli, Jenna Kihl, Hannah and Hayden Kihl; his fiancée Betty Whiteley; and his sister June Wicihowski. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
