Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Bernadine Schultz of Kaukauna, Wisconsin, who passed away at the age of 98, on August 17, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Hanegraaf and Catherine Hanegraaf; her significant other Robert Schultz; her siblings, Joan Frassetto, Rita Foster, Pauline Giordano, Francis Hanegraaf (Bud) and Gretchen; her siblings-in-law, Ken Foth, Betty Hanegraaf, Robert Nachel, Francis Frassetto, Robert Giordano, Ken Sorenson, Ken Foster, Jack Marquardt and Jim VandeLoo; and her sister Rita Mary.

She is survived by: her daughter Catherine Liska (James); her granddaughters, Alexandra Liska and Cathryn Liska-White; her son Gregory Schultz (Ardell); her grandchildren, Matthew Schultz (Denise Sommers), Abby Nelson (Ryan) and Lauren Court (Adam); her child Thomas Schultz (Terri); her grandchildren, Amie Berggren (Brian), Jonathan Schultz and Courtney Kramer (Aaron); her daughter Julie McCarragher (Kevin); her grandchildren, Casey McCarragher, Brady McCarragher (Kelly), Phillip McCarragher (Natalie), Kyle McCarragher and Keegan McCarragher; her son Dr. Christopher Schultz (Geralyn); her grandchildren, Emily Schultz-Lemke (Taylor), Madeline (Scott Cayo) and Robert Schultz; her sisters, Germaine Nachel and MaryBeth VandeLoo; and her cousin Nancy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

We are so grateful for the tender care she received, especially in this unprecedented time of the pandemic.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Deane's name are welcome to Holy Spirit Parish for tuition assistance for the day school or the Catholic Formation programs OR to the 'Lighting of the Crosses" on the Holy Spirit tower. Due to the pandemic, social distancing and masks will be required as well as limitations of a 25% church capacity.
