She was predeceased by: her former husband John Garot; and her stepson Andrew Lee Kempen. She is survived by: her children, Jane Johnson (Joseph Backus), Ann Mentink (Barry), John Garot (Sue), Phillip Garot, Lynn Simental and Anita St (Michael); her husband Leo; and also Amy. She is also survived by 11 step children, two of which were very close to her, Amy (Al) Prudon and Tom (Sherry) Kempen; 46 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and her brother.
