She was predeceased by: her parents, John Verboort and Catherine Verboort (Kerkhoff); her husband Clifford Kortz; her siblings, Alvina Jahnke (Albert), Cordell Bowers (Omer) and Mariella Small (Norman); her parents-in-law, John and Josephine Kortz (Umlauft); and her siblings-in-law, Olive Joosten (John), Myrtle Bowers (Ray), Kirby Kortz (Catherine), Orin Kortz (Rosella) and Virginia Weyenberg (Matt).
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Schwanke of Appleton and Nancy Kortz of Appleton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
