He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Arndt and Ella Arndt (Zepp); his daughter Gretchen Pouchert; and his sisters, Adeline Mueller and Pearl Fischbach.

He is survived by: his wife SuZanne Arndt of Oak Grove; his daughters, Jennifer Schuett (Robert) of Waupun, Jessica Schlumpf (Frank) of Blanchardville, Rebecca Voelz (Dale) of Tilleda and Rachel Arndt (Jeff Lemons) of Menomonee Falls; and his son-in-law Tom Pouchert. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; a nephew; and further survived by other relatives and many friends.
