She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Jr. Higgins and Ramona Higgins (Liter). She is survived by: her husband Edmond Schmid Sr.; her children, Stacey Otto (Thomas "TJ"), Jessica Smith (Charles "Doug"), Karen Matz (Troy), Edmond Jr. Schmid (Jennifer) and Daniel; her grandchildren, Mickey, Malachi, Eric, Mikah, McGregor, Faith, Milo, Shaileigh, Chloe, Myra, Emerson, Jackson and Cora; and her great grandchild Averie. She is also survived by 7 sisters; 5 brothers, and many nieces and nephews.
