He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Cloeter and Olga Cloeter (Lucy); and his siblings, Elvira Ostrum, Agatha Meier and Donald Meier.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille Jorgenson; his daughters, Diane Maurer (Duke) of Belen, NM, Margaret Vargas (Edward) of Bowie, MD, Amy Siesennop (Bob) of Oconomowoc, WI, Elizabeth Gust (Peter) of Friendship, WI, Kate Jopson (Melvin) of Rochester, NY, Kristine Haffely (Joel) of Woodbury, MN and Nancy Thompson (Michael) of Blaine, MN; and his siblings, Ora Payne, Vida Cordell and Maurice Meier. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
