He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Spangler and Diane Spangler (Gutreuter) of Johnson Creek; and his nephew Eric Mess. He is survived by: his wife Christine Marie Blumer; his siblings, Jill Hanus, Lynn Spangler (J. Robert Curruchich) of Curruchich, Mary Beth Mess (Eugene), Michael Spangler (Tracey), Amy Spangler, Lisa Spangler, Kristin Grant (Donald) and Matthew Spangler; his aunts and uncles, Cyril Spangler, Madison, MaryAnn Spangler Langbecker (Dennis), Marana, Ariz, James Spangler (Phyllis), Jefferson, Sally Soltis (Larry) and Mount Horeb; and his sister-in-law Patricia Wehr. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
