With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Edward F. Dettmers of Johnson Creek, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Edward left this world on December 19, 2024 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Edward F. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dettmers and Elsie Dettmers (Dobratz) of Helenville; and his brother Ronald Dettmers. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Dettmers of Johnson Creek; his children, Daniel Dettmers (Lavonne) of McFarland, Doug Dettmers (Sarah) of Menomonee Falls and Dana Swift (Aaron) of Boise, ID; his grandchildren, Isabella, Chloe, Guinevere, Maxwell, Mason, Tori and Kyla; and his sister Donna Smith (Monte) of Roseville, MN.. He is also survived by other relatives, friends.

In lieu of flowers or other gifts, the family asks that donations be made to the St. John's Lutheran Forward in Faith campaign to remodel their Christian school or any other local charity in honor of Ed's love of the Jefferson County community.

Georgia and family, I really liked Ed especially when I seen you both many times at the farm Ed was such a wonderful guy & loving person He had a great sense of humor and made me laugh.
