It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alvin Lewis Bishop of Johnson Creek, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 7, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Louise Dunlap; and his cousin Lorenzo Jones. He is survived by: his wife Varla Maier; and his children, Byron Bishop (Cindie), Aaron Bishop (Ylla), Allece Merchant (Neal) and Eric Wise. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to The Salvation Army of Wisconsin or Urban League of Greater Madison.
