He is survived by: his wife Mary (Walker); his children, Gary Walker, Jr. (Lorie), Lawrence Walker (Carolyn Young), Kimberly Steffen (Thad) and Karen Averette (Wesley); his siblings, Robert Walker (Arletta), James Walker (Joan), Richard Walker (Vickie) and Mildred Brettingen; his grandchildren, Amanda Mallmann (Jacob), Tyler Walker (Gabbie), Heather Walker, Samantha Baskin (Josh), Meredith Hinkes, Jack Hinkes (Jasmine), Alyssa Averette and Alexis Averette; and his siblings, Erik Steffen, Tyler Steffen and Abigail Steffen. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
