It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russel Kobs of Jefferson, Wisconsin, born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 11, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ina Kobs (Klusmeyer) and Rev. George Kobs; and his siblings, John and Ruth Kobs. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Behn of Jefferson; and his children, Marie Kurth (Travis) of Wausau, Nancy Huwe (Jim) of Deerfield, Katharine Bremer (Steven) of Waco, NE, Stephen Kobs (Sheryl) of Greenville and Sarah Horvat (Chris) of Milwaukee. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; and 2 cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church of Jefferson, Lakeside Lutheran High School of Lake Mills, or Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary would be greatly apricated.
