It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merlin Elmer Schoenike of Jefferson, Wisconsin, born in Johnson Creek, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 17, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Schoenike and Leone Schoenike (Freiman); his siblings, Arthur, Norbert and Lois Koellen; his son Todd Schoenike; and his daughter-in-law Judy Schoenike.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Streng (Streng) of Jefferson; his children, Bruce Schoenike (Sue) of Beloit and Debra Schoenike of Jefferson; and his grandson Barry Schoenike (Dawn) of Belleville. He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
