She was predeceased by: her parents, Selma Nelson and Charles Nelson; her spouse Dale Adkins; and her sister Pat. She is survived by: her siblings, Herb and Carol; her children, Michael Adkins (Trina) of Clyman, WI, Koni Adkins of Jefferson and Scott Adkins (Ann) of Jefferson; her grandchildren, Casie, Ashley, Melissa, Jenny, Jessica, Zach and Max; and her great grandchildren, Dom, Jax, Reagan, Duke, Frankie and Teddy.
