With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John A. Fosdal (Jefferson, Wisconsin), born in Stoughton, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John left this world on January 30, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Fosdal and Alice Fosdal (Nelson); and his wife Roberta Lien. He is survived by: his children, Kari Behling of Fort Atkinson and Mark (Margaret) of Lansing, IL; his grandchildren, Ryan Vogel (Ashley) of Trinity, FL, Amy Strasburg (Andy) of Marshall, WI and Rachel Cooper (Sam) of Champaign, IL; his great grandchildren, Avery, Evelyn Strasburg and Aiden Vogel; and his brother Stanley Fosdal (Sandy) of Fitchburg, WI.. He is also survived by many cousins, grandnieces and nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Please call or text his daughter Kari (920-253-7736) or granddaughter Amy (920-650-1404) to RSVP and get directions.
