We are sad to announce that on September 29, 2023, at the age of 88, Wayne E. Ludwig of Janesville, Wisconsin, born in Eureka, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ludwig and Emma Ludwig (Schmid); his former wife Kay Mickelson; his children, Mike Ludwig and Tena Schmidt; and his brother Ron Ludwig.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Ludwig (Uschan-Quint); his daughters, Lynne Jongebloed (Jay), Julie Meske (Darrell) and Kari Bedord (Ludwig); his stepchildren, Deborah Stowers, Michael Quint (Lilian) and Joseph Quint (Kim); his grandchildren, Gina Green (Jeremy), Nathan Meske (Taylor), Alex Meske (Erica), Mikaylin Kleiman, John Ludwig (Stephanie) and Sam Ludwig; and his siblings, Rich Ludwig (Jane Fossum) and Karlyn Koenen. He is also survived by 6 step grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 5 step great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family members and good friends.
