He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren R. Smith Sr. and Beulah Carolyn Dodd Hauer; his grandmother Lottie Fitzgerald Dodd; and his brothers, Wayne Smith, Harold Hauer, Randolph Hauer and Richard Hauer.
He is survived by: his wife Adella Smith (Klemp) of Janesville; his children, Warren R. Smith III (Mary Jane) of York, PA, Duane Smith (Sherry) of Lancaster, PA, Thomas Smith (Deb) of York, PA and Carolyn E. Smith Isbell (Paul) of Cocoa Beach, FL; his stepsons, Edward Schultz (Karen) of Janesville and James Schultz (Debra) of Janesville; his siblings, Merlin Hauer (Betty), Michael Hauer (Linda) and Lorraine Allmaras (Charlie); and his sister-in-law Dona Smith. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Episcopal Church (409 E Court St, Janesville, WI 53545). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
