Shirley M. Dyrud Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shirley M. Dyrud of Janesville, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Shirley left this world on February 15, 2025 at the age of 96, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid Shirley farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Shirley is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Theodore Axley and Marie Evelyn Dyrud (Wolitz). She was also cherished by several cousins and numerous special friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cedar Crest Chapel (1700 S River Rd, Janesville, WI 53546). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to either St. William Catholic Church or to the Southern Wisconsin Humane Society.
