She was predeceased by: her mother Janie E. Funk (Ackerman); her husband Henry; her brother James Funk, Jr.; and also, Janet Saldana and Marlene Ells.

She is survived by: her father James M. Funk (Helen); her children, Ebony Ells of Janesville and Lukas Ells of Janesville; and her half-sister Elaine Greenwell (Howard).
