He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Cox and Beulah Cox (Ohrmundt); his parents-in-law, Herman and Myrtle Birkholz; and his siblings-in-law, Dolores Lowry, Marilyn Swanson, Barbara Libby, Stanley Lowry, Charles Swanson and Jack Libby.
He is survived by: his wife Deanna L. Birkholz of Paul's Lutheran Church; his children, Lynda, Timothy Cox (Robin), David Cox (Coleen), Andrew Cox and Rebecca Krausen; his grandchildren, Ashley Cox, Austin Cox (Anna), Taylor Cox, Kayla Sjostedt (Dean), Kara Cox, Rachelle Webster (Andrew), Ryley, Ryan and Reid Krausen; and his nieces, Lorna Schiefelbein (Brent) and Nancy Mulford (Robert).
Memorials may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Ron's name.
