We bid farewell to Robert H. Karsten (Janesville, Wisconsin), born in Eden, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 24, 2024 at the age of 90. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Karsten and Josephine Karsten (Wendlandt); his wife Esther Shwed (Shwed); and his siblings, Helen Luedtke and Kenneth Karsten.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Wilson (Michael) and Lynn Nettesheim (Daniel); his grandchildren, Natasha Wenninger (Daniel), Amanda Putman (Adam), Meghan Barnard (Michael), Victoria Nau (Erik), Ethan Margelowsky (Kelsey), Andrew Wilson (Lauren) and Kiley Nettesheim (Jeffery Fonda); his great grandchildren, Adelyn, Gabriel, Robert, James, Mason, Claire and Winona; and his sisters-in-law, Rose Karsten and Joni Shwed. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
