He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Esther (Tucker) and Luther Clayton; his son Bryan Clayton; his brother Max Clayton; and his brother-in-law Paul Goetz.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Goetz; his children, Terrance Clayton (Rachel), Heather Jo Rydalch (Paul), Kara Jo Clayton and Eunju Cho; his daughter-in-law Karen Clayton; his grandchildren, Caroline Geiss (Jacob), Megan Clayton, Gillian Clayton, Nolan Clayton, Monica Clayton, Marshall Clayton, Anghelo Gangano, Isabell Gangano, Eva Gangano and Jackson Kortsch; his great grandchildren, Riley Geiss and Cooper Geiss; his siblings, Gilbert Clayton and Audra Eakens; his siblings-in-law, David Goetz (Cathy) and Carolyn "Jeannie" Goetz; and his nephew Scott Goetz.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM and from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Mark Lutheran Church (2921 Mt Zion Ave, Janesville, WI 53545). A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery (201 N Memorial Dr, Merrill, WI 54452).
