He is survived by: his parents, Dan Klitzke and Donna Klitzke; his sisters, Sylena and Hanna Klitzke; his grandmother Sylvia Klitzke; and his aunts and uncles, Baigalmaa Nordod, Cindy Putnam, Bonnie Klitzke, Debbie Klitzke, Theresa Andrews, Bayrsaikhan Nordod, David, Dwayne, Jim and Bill Klitzke.

Following his time at Platteville he enlisted in the Wisconsin National Guard and was a part of the 273rd Engineer Company, and was called to active duty during the COVID pandemic.
