With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marlene G. Sloniker of Janesville, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 15, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jorgen Anderson and Carol R. Anderson (Smith); her spouse Malcolm'Mac'L. Sloniker; her son Myron Sloniker; her granddaughter Promis Lathrop; and her brother Jerry Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Ann Miller (Vic) of St. Charles, MO, Melinda Lathrop (Dan) of Janesville, Mike Sloniker (Barbara) of Sioux City, IA, Matthew Sloniker (Wendy) of New Berlin, WI and Mark Sloniker (Kyle Alexander) of Nashville, TN; her grandchildren, Neil Miller, Brook Raye (Josh), Leah Kirsten, Maria Johnson (Dan), Jason Sloniker, Devin Lathrop, Julia Austin-Lathrop, Johnathan Lathrop and Dayveon Lathrop; and her great grandchildren, Noel, Kennedy and Jordan. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Apfel Wolfe Funeral Home (21 S Austin Rd, Janesville, WI 53548). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
