She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen McPherson and Thomas McPherson; her siblings, George "Bud" McPherson, Jean Hatlen and Barbara Hyland; her daughter Sharon Carlson (Rich Ovre); her grandson Randy Bewick; and her nephews, Doug and Ed Hatlen.
She is survived by: her husband Earl Carlson; her daughter Shirley Bewick; her grandchildren, Shelly Crull-Hanke (Gary), Wendi Wendt, Tom Bewick and Aaron Bewick; her great grandchildren, Cedrick King, Carly Hanke and Kaitlyn Wendt; her niece Judy Hatlen; and her nephews, Tom and Jim Hatlen.
