It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta M. Slinde (Janesville, Wisconsin), born in Beloit, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 30, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Irwin Allen and Dorothy G. Anderson (James Slinde); her sister Judy Campbell; and her sister-in-law Sue Allen. She is survived by: her husband James M. Slinde; her daughters, Karla Johnson and Karen Slinde-Lueth (Mike); her grandchildren, Audrey Beatty (Kyle), Alyssa Johnson, Alec Johnson, Natalie Newcomb and Grace Newcomb; her great grandchildren, Violette and Elias; her brother Steve Allen; her siblings-in-law, Elnoe Campbell, Paul Slinde (Susan) and Ann Stiff (Howie); and her caregivers, Cozy Li'l Acre and Magnolia Gardens. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, as well as many treasured friends.
Memorial donations may be made in Loretta's honor to the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin or First Lutheran Church.
