He is survived by: his wife Barbara Mathews; his children, Christopher Mathews (Jennifer) and Renee Gille (Tim); his grandchildren, Tanner Gille, Cole Gille (Nicole), Olivia DeRemer, Clayton DeRemer and John'Kirby'Mathews; his great grandchild Dillan Gille; and his siblings, William Mathews (Stephanie), Nancy Kirchstein (Rob Helm) and Joe Mathews. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
