He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Hoile and Elsie Hoile; his siblings, Cecil (Stella), Kenneth, Jessie, Eleanor Bowman (Ben), Evelyn Bogert (William), Mary Hobart (Earl), Mildred Robinson (Kenneth), Emma Hoile, Leila Manglos (Duane) and Veryl Franke (Pat); and his sons-in-law, Steve Joyce and Tim McKearn.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Joyce, Larry Hoile, Colleen Martelle (Dale), Laurie Hollis (Lon) and Ann Hoile; his niece Marjorie Bartell; and his great-nieces, Debbie McKearn, Belinda Elliott and Denise Nadosy (Terry). He is also survived by six grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Life Celebration Center at Schneider Funeral Home (1770 E Racine St, Janesville, WI 53545).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin in John's name.
