With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John D. Firkus of Janesville, Wisconsin, born in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 23, 2023 at the age of 46. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John D. Firkus to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Stephen, Mary Firkus, Merlin Schaller and Mildred Haban. He is survived by: his parents, Barbara Firkus (Schaller) of Fort Atkinson and John P. Firkus; his sisters, Tammy Telfer (Brian) of Fort Atkinson and Sue Davis (Chris) of Janesville; his fiancée Gina Congdon of Fort Atkinson; his nieces and nephews, Austin Telfer (Sidney), Justin, Jessica Telfer, Peyton, Eli Davis and Shelby; and his godmother Kathy Newkirk. He is also survived by other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
