He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Fischer and Margaret Liptow; his wife Doris Schwämmle; his siblings, Albert Fischer, Joseph Fischer, Frank Fischer and Teresa Binkley; his grandson Kenneth Danekas; and his nephews, Dale Fischer, Gary Fischer and Jamie "Jim" Day.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jean Ackerman (Ken) and Jane Danekas (Dave); his grandchildren, Rod Ballmer (Jenny), Garrett Ballmer, Jesse Logue (Jess) and Nathan Danekas; his granddaughter-in-law Kerri Danekas; his great grandchildren, Lillie Vorce-Ballmer, Ava, Ella Ballmer, Paige, Kaiden and McKenzie Danekas; his great great grandchild Wade; his nieces, Julie Day, Jill Day and Jessica Fischer; and his nephew Darrell Davis.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to either: The St. Patrick Catholic Church or to the American Heart Association.
