She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sr. Eggert and Katherine Eggert (Lackovic); her husband John P. Ries, II; her sons, Michael, John and Steven Ries; her grandson J. P. Ries; and her siblings, John Eggert, Jr. and Catherine Eggert.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Hofdahl (Dennis), Catherine Gray (Jeff), Mary Fischer (Martin) and Carol Lanser (Jerry); and her grandchildren, Nathan Starks (Nicole), Nicole Starks (Adam Back), Julia Kimble, Joseph Starks (Ashley), Todd Hofdahl, Rachel Boyde (Pat), Larry Rose, Tanya Manthei (Mike), Tracy Behm (Chris), Nicholas Ries (April), Amanda Ladd (Scott), Daniel Tormey (Amy), Patrick Tormey (Jennifer), Jaclyn Miller (Bert), Lance Ries, Heather Ries, Brandon Fischer, Leah Ries, Sarah Ries, Jeremy Ries, Michelle Pianka (Kurt), Christy Palenske (Tim), Joseph Lanser (Michele), Grant Lanser and Alana Lanser. She is also survived by 55 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and a host of friends.
