He was predeceased by: his parents, Seth Palmer and Margaret Palmer (McDonald); and his siblings, Gwen, Frank, Charles, Ruth, William and Rodney.
He is survived by: his wife Mary "Jeane" Palmer (Guidry); his sons, Robert Palmer (Kathy) and Donald Palmer; his grandchildren, Robert Jay Palmer (Bonny), Michael Palmer (Emily) and Emily Miller (Fred); and his great grandchildren, Milo of Robert, Jackson, Eisley, Everett and William.
