It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene L. Paape of Janesville, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 27, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Irene L. Paape to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Bast and Marie Bast; her husband Edward Paape of Milwaukee, WI; and her son Stephen. She is survived by: her sons, Douglas (Kelly Smith) of Kimberly, WI, David (Anne Perry) of Holmen, WI and Scott (Vickie Buhrow) of Janesville; and her grandchildren, Eric (Michelle) of St. Germain, WI, Colin (Shawna) of Milton, Krista (Jon Trost) of Menasha, Matt of Madison and Josh (Erin) of Chaseburg.

Memorials may be given to the charity of the donor's choice or Wartburg Seminary.
