He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Schulz and Wanda Schulz; his daughter Kathleen Emma Schulz; his former wife Cecelia (Dobel); his son Michael Schulz; and his siblings, Arthur Schulz (Marge), Fredrick Schulz (Shirley), Hilbert Schulz (JoAnn) and Helen Calacurcio (Frank).

He is survived by: his wife Charlotte King; his children, Phillip Schulz (Jodie) and Stephanie Whitney (Tom); and his brother Raymond Schulz. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to the Fulton Church Mortgage Fund.
