He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Stone and Vivian Stone (Hawkins); his wife Shirley Latta (Graves); his son Joey Stone; his stepdaughters, Sandra Hinkle (Bruce) and Diana Bennett; and his siblings, Dorothy Geske (Ralph), Richard Stone, Walter Stone, Jerry Stone and Jimmy Stone.
He is survived by: his former wife Janice Cleayton; his grandchildren, Sam and Emma; his children, George Stone, Jr. (Linda), Jamie Gregg (Jim) and Robin Nelson (John Gehl); his stepchildren, Donna Miles (Steven), Russell Latta, Jody Carlson and Penny Kalas (Kevin); his siblings, Larry Stone (Rose) and Cheryl Latham (Chuck); and his pets, Boots and Leela. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren.
