It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Elsie M. (Hemiller) Henke of Janesville, Wisconsin, who passed away at the age of 89, on January 25, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Hemiller and Mary Hemiller; her husband Robert Henke; her sisters, Alberta Hayes and Ethel Voelker; and her grandson Allan Henke.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Henke (Janet Arnold) of Janesville and David Henke (Rebecca Gerber) of Janesville; her grandchildren, Katherine Barr (Shane), Joseph, Jeffrey, Patrick, Jensen Kowal (Robert), Aidan, Zoe, Calvin Barr, Elijah Henke, Jace and Lilah Kowal; and her sister Mary Splinter of Janesville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Schneider Funeral Directors (1800 E Racine St, Janesville, WI 53547). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery (1827 N Washington St, Janesville, WI 53548).
Memorial donations can be made in Elsie's honor to Agrace Hospice.
