He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald E. Davis and Edna Davis (Cleary); his wife Marcella Davis; and his children, Connie Schroeder, Donnie Davis and Sandy Hilts.
He is survived by: his former wife Marcella "Marcie" Ruth Hilts (West); his children, Sharon Zitzer (Bill), Judy Hulbert, Sally Johnson, Arthur Davis, Michelle Lewiston (Gordon) and Scott Davis; and his close friend Rita Nolte. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren.
