With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clifton R. Wakefield of Janesville, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 18, 2023 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Wakefield and Patricia Schindler. He is survived by: his wife Margery; his children, Andrea Carlson (Logan) and James Gayton (Lisa); his grandchildren, Cason Carlson, Nick Miller, Bailey, Brayson and Breelyn Bolden; his stepsons, Brent Bolden (Jessie), John Tibbetts and Dave Tibbetts; his siblings, Randy Wakefield (Tammy), Dave Schulz (Penny), Laura Krause (Dan) and Mary Flemming; and his stepfather Leroy Schindler. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Family Services of Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois or Leroy Butler's charity, Butler vs.
