Claude E. Eakins Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Claude E. Eakins in Janesville, Wisconsin, born in Gordonville, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 8, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Eakins and Zelma Eakins (Summers); his grandmother Dell Clark of Colorado; and his siblings, Monola, Hazel, Carl, Cecil Earl, Vergie, Rose Marie, Erma Lee, Louella, Louis and Scott.
He is survived by: his spouse Fayette Edwards; his children, Deborah McCool-Cloute (Dan Cloute) of Jefferson, Clyde Eakins (Carolyn Stinemates) and Jeff Eakins of Janesville; his granddaughters, Christina McCool Abbott (Eric Abbott) and Jennifer McCool of Janesville; and his great grandchildren, Laine of Janesville, Cap of Janesville, Luca Abbott of Janesville and Finn McCool of Janesville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Asbury United Methodist Church (1810 Kellogg Ave, Janesville, WI 53545). A prayer was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 10:45 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
