She is survived by: her children, Denise Bonk (Tom), Kim Knopes, Steve Knopes (Penny), Chris Knopes, Jennifer Caldwell and Jason Knopes (Awilda); her brother Larry Kettleson; her husband Dennis Knopes; and her grandchildren, Abbey, Ben, Joey, Andrew, Kyle, Kennedy, Katrina, Isabelle and Edgar.
Charitable contributions may be made in Barbara's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause she cared deeply about, reflecting her lifelong commitment to helping children in need.
