She was predeceased by: her parents, William Merrick and Elsie Merrick (Kroup); and her husband Harold Kotwitz. She is survived by: her sons, Larry Kotwitz (Mary) and Jerry Hawk; her grandchildren, Eric Kotwitz (Brenda), Jon Kotwitz (Cristol) and Alicia Hammon (Nickolas); her great grandchildren, Ariana Risen (Tim), Mike Kotwitz, Scarlett Hammon, Lincoln and Jaxon Kotwitz; and her great great grandchild Madison Risen. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church.
