She was predeceased by: her parents, John Matakovic and Rose Matakovic; her siblings, Mary, Katie, Peter, Steve and John; and her daughter-in-law Joanne Briggs.
She is survived by: her husband Raymond W. Briggs; her sons, Raymond J. Briggs (Carol) of Janesville and Timothy P. Briggs of Whitewater; her grandchildren, Erin Briggs of Janesville, Amy Hunt (Jon) of Coloma, WI, Peter Briggs (Jackie) of Whitewater, Toby Briggs of Madison, WI, Kristi Odierno (Matt) of Milton, Jayson Briggs (Tasha) of Janesville, Heather Freda (Carl) of Milton and Andy Briggs (Susan) of Madison; and her great grandchildren, Barry Hunt, Steven Hunt, Courtney Briggs, Sam Hunt, Kara Briggs, Archie Briggs and Vayda Briggs. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
