He was predeceased by: his children, Richard James and Diana Marie; his parents, Francis Kearns (Tom) and Marie Kearns; and his siblings, James Kearns and Kathleen Schneider.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Gundrum; and his children, Robert, Jr. (Joan), Lynn Christenson (Scott), Steven, Brian, Eric (Tricia) and Michelle Russell (Robert). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
