She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Andrew P. Hettinga and LaVerne A. Hettinga (Yolitz); her husband Thomas D. Spencer; and her sister Nelda Hettinga of Wausau. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Cedar Community Hospice of West Bend or St. John's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund would be appreciated.
