He was predeceased by: his parents, Roman Friess and Dorothy Friess (Hembel); his parents-in-law, Frank and Esther Gray (Goschey); his granddaughter Mayah; and his pets, Talon and Chester.
He is survived by: his wife Colleen; his children, Heather (Wendy), Stephanie McLeod (Robert), Jeremy (Judy) and Amanda Hauck (Dylan); his grandchildren, Brandi, Trevor, Isaiah, Olivia, Elie and Sophia; his brother James (Vicki Shymanski); and his godson Ryan. He is also survived by many other relatives and dear friends.
