He was predeceased by: his son Scott; and his daughter-in-law Julie Ludin. He is survived by: his wife Ellen; his children, Cynthia Ascher (Mark), Kendall Ludin, Steven Ludin (Debbie) and Michael Ludin (Leah); his daughter-in-law Laura Ludin; and his brother Richard Ludin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
